Today the devs at Brace yourself games released the trailer and the steam page for the new Crypt of the necrodancer dlc, which you can find here: http://store.steampowered.com/ap/55400p0 .

In the trailer you can see a lot of new information, items and enemies and I'll try to explain and index the new things here. If i miss something, be sure to comment them down below.

I'll start at the new items:

Ring of frost: A ring, that freezes enemies and kills frozen enemies, like the dagger of frost

Shovel of strength: A shovel, that has bigger range (Maybe like the blood shovel dig?) and has +1 dig, and on top of all that gives you +1 damage

Carrot: Restores one health on use, and gives you a glimpse at the map. We currently have no info, how the glimpse at the map works

Harp: A weapon, that attacks in a circle around you, and seems to not need a button press, to use. Deals one damage at the base material

Staff: A weapon, that works like a one way fireball. Has atleast 2 damage

Throwing star: Limited ammo projectile

A new Earth scroll, that pushes away and creates a 3x3 wall around you

A new weapon, that seems to work like a one damage rapier, when the enemy has health left and like a spear, when the enemy is killed after the hit.

Some type of a freeze compass?

Purple hearts. Maybe they are one-time use hearts (the price also seems to suggest that)

Also the trailer shows off the new "familiars" system with a rat helping cadence kill a harpy.

After that, let's start looking at the new zone:

The new mechanic from the trailer seems to be circuit lines on the floor. While standing on the lines, your attacks seem to be doing AOE damage, that spreads through enemies. The color palette and theme seem to be purple and yellow cyberpunkish atmosphere, with wires coming out of the walls.

Let's get to enemies:

We finally get some more info abut some of the enemy gifs posted to the necrodancer twitter (https://twitter.com/NecroDancerGame)

The first enemy i will talk about has been teased on the necrodancer twitter: https://twitter.com/NecroDancerGame/status/789240478277349376

The enemy seems to work like a mommy skeleton of sorts. When killed, it drops three skeletons of the same color, as the "mommy"

There is a zombie, with a yellow, glowy color scheme that seems to walk only on the circuit lines. They move every beat.

There seem to now be more enemies like the fake walls in zone 2 and mimic chests. Showcased in the trailer are the mimic barrel and the fake shop wall.

A new type of a goblin, that seems to always move towards you.

Also there are a lot more enemies seen in the trailer, but there isn't anything shown from their abilities and i din't want to make me hate myself, so i didn't mention them here.

Bosses:

Currently the only main boss visible in the trailer is a mole dj, the steam page suggests it's name is FortissiMole, who has a 2x7 group of black skeletons in front of him as fans.

There also is the previously teased metronome miniboss, (https://twitter.com/NecroDancerGame/status/806606003013697536) but it's abilities are not showcased

And now to the most interesting part... The new playable story character:

The characters name is Nocturna, and she is an undead vampire. Her main ability seems to be transforming herself into a bat, to gain flying. Her so called intro dialogue is a play on the cadence intro dialogue, which makes her look about the same age as Cadence. Currently her motive, of going to the crypt is, that she wanted to see, what's inside, instead of the usual looking for relative/looking for lute story we have come to love.

Of course there is an amazing soundtrack by DannyB and currently confirmed remixes by FamilyJules7x and Virt, plus there is a new remix by OverClocked ReMix

To take it all together, the DLC is a thing to be very exited about and to definately check out.
